This four track edition of Child Star was released in the UK in 1995. This CD single also includes We Need Jealousy, The Idol and Out There all recorded live from the TV series Live From Abbey Road. This edition is housed in a gold embossed digipak picture sleeve with space for Part 2 to be inserted.

Marc Almond is a critically acclaimed and successful singer, songwriter and performer. Marc as part of the first successful British Electro Duo, Soft Cell. Marc Almond and Dave Ball had a string of international hits, the most famous of which is the million selling version of “Tainted Love”. Since this time Marc has forged a highly successful solo career releasing a series of unique and diverse albums and hit singles including "Something's Gotten Hold Of My Heart", a duet with Gene Pitney.
